In 2011, Josette was told the disease was irreversible.
She was diagnosed with advanced rheumatoid arthritis. Today, there is no evidence of the disease that was supposed to determine the rest of her life. But this day is not about telling you that what happened for Josette will happen for you.
It is about the question her experience left behind: what else might be possible?

Sunday is a beautiful, immersive day devoted to healing, energy, embodiment, and our capacity to participate more consciously in our own wellbeing and our lives. We move differently. We create space between what we have been told, what we have concluded, and what we actually know. And we become curious again.
Healing is not a war on the body. It is relationship.
Josette's experience taught her that healing is not about declaring war on the body — nor about pretending difficult circumstances don't exist. It is about relationship. The relationship we have with our bodies, with our beliefs, with stress, with energy, with uncertainty, with possibility, and with our own inner authority.
Throughout the day, we explore these relationships through conversation, restorative embodiment, guided visualization, energy healing, reflection, and stillness. Not in pursuit of certainty — in pursuit of possibility.

Josette is a former professional dancer, entrepreneur, author, and nationally recognized wellness educator whose work has explored human potential for more than fifteen years.
A top digital author on DailyOM and Humanity's Team, she has worked alongside leading voices including Gregg Braden and Don Miguel Ruiz, spoken on wellness stages around the world, and received Congressional recognition for her contributions to health and wellness education. She is a Santa Barbara Local Hero and serves on the Women in Leadership Advisory Board at UC Santa Barbara.

Her extraordinary recovery changed the course of her life and became the foundation for a much larger inquiry into healing, agency, and what human beings may be capable of when we question what we have accepted as certain.
Today, her work is devoted to helping people recognize their own capacity to choose, create, and participate more fully in the lives that are theirs.

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis. You don't need to be trying to heal something. You may simply be ready to understand yourself differently. To listen more closely. To become curious about your body, your energy, and your life.
And perhaps to reconsider something you had quietly decided could never change.
